How a Cap Sample Moves from Artwork to Approval

16

The sample stage translates a product brief into a physical cap. It is the best moment to catch construction, fit and branding issues before materials are committed for bulk production.

Turn artwork into a usable specification

A good tech pack includes flat and detail views, measurements, material references, decoration locations and packaging notes. It reduces guesswork and gives the sample room a clear order of operations.

Review the cap in context

Inspect the cap from the front, side, back and interior. Wear it on more than one head shape and check whether labels, sweatband, closure and logo placement feel balanced.

Record every approved change

After feedback is resolved, document the final sample version and reference photos. That record becomes the benchmark for production quality control and helps prevent late-stage confusion.
